Praveen Nettaru murder case: Tow driver, another accused who was hiding in the guise of plumber arrested
Now the NIA team has arrested another main accused in connection with the murder case of Hindu activist Praveen Nettaru.
NIA sources said that Taufil, the most wanted accused in the case, was arrested late at night in Dasarahalli under Amritahalli police station.
Accused Taufil was staying at Maruti Layout in Amritahalli for the last five to six months. A team consisting of more than ten officers, who launched a rapid operation late at night on a tip-off that the accused was hiding in Bangalore, first ascertained that Taufil was inside the house.
NIA officials disguised as an auto driver and plumber entered Taufil's house. More than ten officers attacked simultaneously. At this time, the accused, who was cutting mutton at home, attacked the NIA officers. Meanwhile Taufil is locked up by NIA officials. Taufil is currently being interrogated by NIA officials who have taken him into custody.
So far 14 accused have been arrested in connection with Praveen Nettaru's murder case and the search is on for 6 accused.
